Golden Rule: Dilution: Essential oils are highly concentrated. It should never be applied undiluted on large skin surfaces. It should always be diluted with a carrier (fixed) oil such as Sweet Almond, Jojoba, Coconut or Avocado oil before applying to the skin. This not only prevents irritation of the skin, but also allows the essential oil to be better absorbed by spreading it over a larger area.
Massage: It is one of the most luxurious methods to relieve muscle tension, relieve stress and nourish the skin. Apply the massage oil prepared according to the dilution rates specified in Table 2 below to your body in circular motions.
Bath: Add 5-10 drops of lavender oil to a warm bathtub. However, to prevent the oil from remaining on the surface of the water and to ensure that it is evenly distributed throughout your skin, first mix the oil with a tablespoon of carrier oil, whole milk or Epsom salt and add it to the water.
Direct Application: It can only be applied with the help of a cotton swab for very small areas (such as a pimple, insect bite or a small cut) and after a patch test has been done, without diluting a drop of lavender oil (neat). But the safest approach is always to dilute it.
