This menstrual swimsuit provides about 0.5 pads or 1 tampon of protection under it. On heavier bleeding days, you can use it with a tampon or a menstrual cup, which is a more environmentally friendly alternative, so you can run towards the waves without looking back.

There is no specific lifespan. If you take good care of your menstrual swimsuit, you can use it for many years.
