The story of Gliki began in 2023, in Eski Bademli Village, one of the protected and most charming villages of Imbros | Gökçeada — an island in the heart of the Aegean Sea. Gliki was born with a simple yet heartfelt desire: to remind island lovers, sun seekers, dreamers, and romantics of the calm, joyful, and free-spirited island life — and the space it creates for dreaming. The brand emerged from the meeting of Arzu, who has been in love with fashion since childhood and brings over twenty years of experience in fashion and textiles, and Özgün, whose background lies in brand building and e-commerce. Inspired by the rhythm and spirit of the Aegean, Gliki designs and produces elegant yet comfortable garments made from natural fabrics — pieces that can be worn effortlessly from sunrise to sunset — along with thoughtfully crafted accessories that complete them. Each piece is created with natural materials, careful craftsmanship, and great attention to detail. Designed to evoke the feeling of summer, wherever you may be. Our name, Gliki, comes from the former name of Eski Bademli Village on Imbros | Gökçeada, meaning “sweet” or “sugary.” True to its name, Gliki offers refined, relaxed designs infused with the Aegean spirit — timeless pieces and versatile accessories made to be worn throughout the day, with ease and joy.
