Matcha Tea is a type of tea originating from Japan, made by grinding specially grown and processed green tea leaves into a fine powder. Unlike other green teas, matcha is not simply brewed and filtered; the powdered tea is fully mixed with water and consumed. This allows the whole leaf to be ingested, providing a more intense effect.
